It is a very important aspect that occupies a prominent place in the life of each of us.Legea knows this and that is why it signs and especially supports sports activities with ideals that are essential for growing up in a world that respects all rules. Not only those from the sport played on the field.
Legea's origins are linked to the evolution of a textile manufacturing enterprise producing sports goods founded in Pompeii in 1966 by a married couple, Antonio and Elena Acanfora. Legea was founded in the early 1990s. It mainly produced clothing and accessories for soccer, imposing itself with immediate success on the market; a few years later it decided to expand its field of activity by also producing technical material for basketball, volleyball, athletics and fitness.
The growth of the Campania-based company's turnover is also constant thanks to the growing number of technical sponsorships of soccer clubs, peaking with the sponsorship in the 2003/2004 championship of the Soccer Club of Napoli.
Also worth mentioning to enrich the technical sponsorship policy is the agreement for the technical sponsorship and official supply of sportswear of the Italian Referees' Association from the 2019/2020 sports season and with a three-year term.

In Legea's history, major sports sponsorships have always been the foundation of the achievements that have led to the brand's worldwide affirmation.
Legea year after year consolidates its important presence in sports with partnerships not only in the top Italian leagues(sponsoring over the years teams such as Livorno, Cosenza, Frosinone, Udinese, Palermo, Lecce, and as well as 10 teams of the Serie C Championship in 2017/18 establishing itself as the most present brand in the category), but also and especially proud of prestigious sponsorship agreements reached with national teams of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Montenegro and North Korea, thanks to which Legea was the only Italian brand present at the 2010 FIFA World Cup in South Africa, and with historical clubs with timeless appeal such as Red Star Belgrade in Serbia, CSKA Sofia in Bulgaria, Torpedo Moscow in Russia, NAC Breda, NEC Nijmegen and Roda Jc in the Netherlands, A. E. Larisas in Greece and The New Saints in Wales.
